Westcliffe is an old timer city with wide open Fields and pastures with the mountains over looking the valley below. Westcliffe is a real town i love, and used to live in when I was in Colorado. It's beautiful and the game doesn't do it justice. I tried to get everything as accurate as possible but there are alot of things that have been changed/moved around. There is alot to do, and alot to explore. So buckle up and take a ride around town, or take a trip up the mountains to test out your 4x4. Be careful up there
if you have any problems please reach out to me on discord in the bug-reports section so can get everything sorted for the next release.
this is my first map. its not perfect, But I've spent alot of time on it to make it something you all will enjoy! I have more maps im working on. These are big projects i plan to release in the following months. Stay tuned!
this is my first map release and have a whole lot planned for the future.

I actually live in the area so this is really neat! Westcliffe is a perfect map for fs25 and i think Its really Cool that you are taking on the task of making it! If you ever need any reference photos of the area feel free to hit me up on Discord [OphirWolf]
Will there be a good amount of forests?
Oh yeah!
what are you looking for in a tester?
Anyone and anybody can become a tester. Only thing that's important to me is you need to be in my discord chat to report bugs / problems. Testing will begin in the next month on the first beta release.. I'll update this post and make a devlog post alongside it to keep everyone updated. I've completely restarted from the 22 version.

I am a little bit of a map junkie never really finding what I'm looking for. I'm more into the forestry than farming aspects of FS and I get into different productions from the forestry lines as well. I really liked the Silverrun map for this. When I look for a map what I really like to see is a highway system that has a purpose and makes sense. So many maps have roads that just wander. A good highway system will make the map seem larger or smaller depending upon how it's laid out. Alma, Missouri is a good example of a standard size map that feels much bigger due to layout. Griffin Indiana is another good layout. The ElmCreek Layout is pretty good with the highway layout but has an almost European feel rather than American due to the layout of everything else although it isn't a bad map all things considered. I look for a map with a town that is small but realistic with a purpose. Towns have Houses, Gas Stations, Banks, Grocery Stores and at least one sell point and an industry of some sort. They also need an area for the town to grow. I like a little industrial park for this. Good American road markings are nice to help with the immersion. I love watching map projects. Good luck with this one.
Spot on with this, im european, but would love a highway on a map for when you have a big farm to transport grains with a semi truck.. Elmcreek does feel european its just the roads that are different then normal.. Like small bridges on the map they don't make sense.. I hope fs25 can be a little better with basegame maps..
what are some features you'd like to see on Westcliffe??
I am asuming you are still working on it, I hope you could add something like a highway, and a train station. A dairy farm and a grain farm, maybe a few forgotten farms that you can buy and renovate into bigger farms with the land around it. Some ranches maybe, im not known with colorado only been to oregon once lol
